Battery 21

We rented 21 Battery for its location, Sea Pines, it proximity to the beach, and especially its interiors. This home is beautiful is welcoming as soon as entering the circle drive, the lighted decorative gate awaits. After a 12 hr drive, the reaction upon entering this home was simply, Ahhhhhhhhh!

Our home in Sea Pines was very clean, well-maintained and in great shape. What a wonderful location -- we sat by the pool and watched the golfers make their way through the course. The location is a short bike ride from the beach or a little longer ride to South Beach. We enjoyed golf, biking, going to the beach and grilling dinner or dining outside.

Our vacation was absolutely lovely! 21 Battery was in excellent condition. We cannot say anything bad about our experience- it was all great! We are already planning our next visit to Hilton Head and will look to rent 21 Battery again. We have a son in a wheelchair and the home was 100% accessible. Perfect!

Overall, we had a great time at the home! From the initial booking through checking-out, the process was clear and smooth. The only minor comments we had were around cleanliness (noticed scum and grime on bathroom doors that had glass doors, etc.). Otherwise, the home was clean and great for gathering family around! The location was also great - it was secluded where we didn't have to worry about running into others (especially during COVID), but accessible to the beach and "down town" areas of Hilton Head. We would certainly come back to this home!

Our family along with my older parents stayed in this unit. It was the first time we were all together since the pandemic started and since we all finally got our shots, so that made the trip extra special. What added to the experience was this great house, with great space and a great location just a short bike ride to an uncrowded beach. The pool was great for the kids on the few warmer days to just be at the house and have that option. We were able to bike to many great attractions: Harbor Town, Sea Pines Nature Preserve and trails, South Beach, and a variety of other trails. It was also fun to watch them start the setup for the big golf tournament the following week when we walked the cart paths in the evenings. Again, great clean place for our group of 7. Very pleased with our choice.

This home Was the perfect layout for our family of 8. The master is totally separate from the other bedrooms and we loved that. All one floor, open to the pool. The only problem was the cleanliness of the kitchen. The SS appliances were in need of cleaning. The hood over the stove had months of grease on it. Teflon pans were flaking, wine glasses cloudy and need replacing. I would rent this house again if they tweaked the items in the kitchen. I did send an email to the management company, hopefully they will take care of these items to make this a great home.

This home has lots to offer! Location is great and the rooms were wonderful sizes with their own private bathrooms! Gorgeous kitchen/open-concept living space & lots of fun in pool!

Fabulous house! Very comfortable and clean! The house is well equipped and the kitchen has everything a guest needs. We stayed Thanksgiving week and had plenty of dishes and servers for our meal. The only thing that could be improved is the sofa in the living room. We hope to come back next year.

We had a great time at our stay at 21 Battery Rd. Although we had some rainy weather at the start of our week, we could still enjoy the heated pool in between rain drops. The property description is accurate. The home is very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location, with an easy bike ride or walk to the beach. We love staying in Sea Pines. We love relaxing by the pool, biking around Sea Pines, and going to the beach. Sea Turtle Getaways was always quick to answer questions before or during the vacation and provided a smooth and easy reservation process and check in/out. We definitely recommend staying at 21 Battery!

A perfect Sea Pines location! 5 min bike ride to beach, 10 min to Harbour Town and South Beach. House was clean and had most everything we needed. Kitchen is stocked but bring kitchen towels, foil, dishwasher cleaner etc..Not much left behind. Pool is on smaller side and doesn’t get any sun until afternoon. Lots of indoor living space. We really enjoyed the golf course view!

We selected this property for its single story, which created ease with the grandparents and toddler who were vacationing with us. Overall, we were satisfied with the home. We found the home clean, quite spacious and kitchen large and well stocked. The layout of the home offered nice privacy, with each guest bedroom having their own bath. We appreciated the golf course views, although a very quiet course during our week. The beach access closest to the house is nice, but difficult for us to navigate the distance with a 1 year old. We found it easier to drive and park at the beach club. In general, we found the home comfortable for the 8 of us.

A little constructive feedback. We did find the kitchen, while quite large, to be left with no room to put any of our own food away in cabinets. With a locked pantry, I would encourage the homeowners to clear some space in this large kitchen for their guests. We also had difficulty in keeping the master bedroom temperature cool enough. Fortunately, we had brought along a large fan which assisted, but there is a large temperature difference between the main living area and the master. The pool is quite chilly with no option to heat. Because of the trees, the pool gets little sun and subsequently, we had a difficult time using the pool, despite the 80-90 degree air temperatures. Finally, each guest is provided 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels for the week. This might work for some, but it was an inconvenience for our family. We found ourselves doing laundry with the very old washer and dryer mid week. In the houses I have rented before, I have never had such a limitation.

Happy with Express check in and keyless entry. WiFi poor. Cob webs in some corners, but overall quite clean. Toothbrush found under master bed. House itself was nice. Pool clean. Kitchen amenities nice. Sad no beach towels included. Sad no beach chairs included.

We had a great week at Battery 21. The ranch has plenty of interior space for everyone to spread out and the fact that each bedroom has a bathroom is a huge plus. The location is a tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful golf course view. The pool is very nice and we loved the running water of the waterfall. Definitely rent bikes to get around as the paths are easy to jump on. Not deal breakers but things to note - there is not a ton of sun on the back patio and the trees shed quite a bit so we were cleaning out the pool and cleaning off the pool deck daily, if not more often if we were using the area. The rental does not offer beach chairs or, beach towels so be sure to plan for that. We would definitely consider renting this unit again!

What a wonderful home that my family had the ability to enjoy for a full week. The location and the condition of the home was perfect, couldn’t have asked for anything more. We spent a good # of hours at Sea Pines Racquet Club, which was only a 15 minute bike ride away. I will certainly be coming back and staying at “Battery 21”. The property management team that I used was spot on, timely and professional. Job well done!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was maintained well and everything worked. Very comfortable for our family of 4 and our dog. Perfectly situated with the beach club not too far, a quick bike ride to the Salty Dog too. Gorgeous view of the Harbor Town Golf Course too.

21 Battery is a lovely home. There was ample room for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Nice pool..although the maintenance person never came. Each bedroom had a bath which was very convenient. The only suggestion is to add some pots and pans..there were very few.

We had three couples sharing this house the first week of September. We found the house very clean and well equipped with all we needed. We loved the openness of the house, the 2 sitting areas, the pool and the kitchen! The location was great! Loved looking at the golfers go by! The only improvement I would like to see happen is a king bed replacing the twins and upgrading some of the mattresses. We had a great week!

Our experience was an incredible, memorable experience. We had an absolutely amazing time. The house was extremely charming and the location was in the perfect location. We will definitely book another vacation at this location for next summer. Our only complaint which is very minimal and easily fixed. The middle range did not work. I am a chef and love to cook. Although it did not limit me, but it would have been nice to have if it worked. Ice maker did not work. Thankfully there was a tray to make ice. Hopefully this is fixed for the future. One of the pool chairs was broken along with a table before we arrived.

We had a great time with absolutely perfect weather. Sea Turtle was exceptionally helpful with a couple of small hiccups but overall our stay was very good. Here comes the “but”. This is a beautiful home and well maintained BUT we did not enjoy the mattresses on either king size bed.....both were very hard and left you tired the next morning. We have been home six days now and my wife’s back is still bothering her. Actually one of the first things we did when we got home was order a mattress topper for future travels.

We spent Thanksgiving on Hilton Head as we have been doing for the last ten years. This home is very spacious, awesome location with an amazing view of Harbour Town #5 fairway. We played golf, biked to the beach and had some wonderful meals outside of Sea Pines. Kitchen was well appointed with many places to sit and relax. Beds were in good shape and very comfortable. Television situation wasn't great (we watch college football that week) and the home was less than spotless but overall we enjoyed our stay.
